Instead of burying loved ones in graves of dirt
Let us place them in pits of snow
6 feet of crunchy, crunchy snow
Can a funeral really get any colder?
We can barrow the tears of goers and put them in trays.
There are two outcomes:
1) the burried drown in what they already are and all they ever were
OR
2)it melts and any life left floats to the surface and pops in bubble form reminders
Dirt is too immovable. It's too permanent and so lasting.
Snow is a memory keeper
a form of legend preservation
So, please keep me whole
and bury me in snow.
